Computer Savvy

I just recently started allowing Gavin to use the computer by himself. He loves this website called Starfall. It teaches letters and beginner reading. It also has games, which Gavin recently discovered. It's great for when I jump in the shower or just need a few minutes to myself during the day. It's also another thing he can do without being "bothered" by his sister!

We heart starfall too! Isn't it the greatest?!? I'm extra thankful for the phonics songs as I have no clue about phonics rules.

Have I told you about red fish soup's website? Not so much about phonics/reading but about exposure to other languages. (The purple castles on the bottom have the language activities) Check it out: http://www.poissonrouge.com/

I'm about to nerd it out here, since I'm going to be a math teacher but these sites are some good ones for early math games...I have more but they are mostly for older kids, so ask me in a few years.
