This is totally my OPINION...but being a photographer, I photograph a LOT of children now. Girls, by far, have the most adoreable clothing! I LOVE all the outfits and am not sure I could ever have a girl, for fear I'd go broke buying clothes!
The last two outfits have a busy pattern and could distract from sweet Charlotte. The first one is my favorite, but it may be too light for pics. Cream doesn't always photograph well because it washes kids out. If they use a brown backgroud it could work. The second one is probably the best from a photographers point of view. Striped tights on kids always photograph SUPER cute and the dress is a great purple! Just my two cents!
I like #4 the best--love the colors and it looks comfy, too!!
I totally understand this dilemma! Your photog friend has a good point. If you are having charlotte's pics done in a natural setting (outside etc,) i would saw the cream would be so sweet looking. But if it's the typical white background portrait people pic - the cream wouldn't be good. I love the purple with the stripey tights! I can see the pics already! What are you putting in her hair? Is she wearing one of your hats?
love the cream. i'd go w/ that if it's outdoor. and i like the #4 choice, too. if you go indoor w/a plain background i think she'd look super cute in that. but let's be honest. they are all adorable! i'd have a hard time deciding too.
I vote for #1! I think the cream dress with gold shoes would be so pretty on Charlotte with her brown hair and eyes and a soft brown background. I actually really like #3 too (even though no one else chose #3) because it's such a classic little girls' outfit. Good luck deciding -- I'm sure she'll look adorable regardless of what you pick!
Totally #2. I love the bright colors and think they will photograph really well. Plus the spunky outfit reminds me of her spunky personality!! :) All the outfits are adorable but for pictures I have to go w/ #2.
Oh my word- they are all adorable! I think I like #2 the best - such fun colors. But of course she will look adorable in anything!
Aubrey has the same dress from the Children's Place. I didn't read everybody's comments so I may be repeating what you've already heard. BUT - I would avoid patterns for pictures. It's too busy. It's super cute in real life, but I think plain is better for photos. The cream is nice because it's solid but it might wash her out - unless you use a dark background. I had Aubrey's pics taken in a cream dress a few months ago and we used a brown background. It turned out really nice.
I might be too late to vote...but I too love #1. it's just so classic! but I don't know about the lighting and all that jazz.... :)
